I'm finishing a master's in computer science, specializing in artificial intelligence, at KU Leuven, Belgium. For my thesis, I'm investigating how to control what language models generate. Before that, I graduated with a bachelor's in computer science and engineering from Sabancı University in Turkey, where focused on applying retrieval-augmented generation in the education domain.
Along the way, I've done storage systems research at Imec, worked as a data engineer at Amazon, and built several projects.

Somewhere between machine learning, information retrieval, language models, and software systems is where I spend most of my time. I'm interested in how intelligent systems learn, retrieve, reason, and scale.
